The trouble you can get in!

Don’t just think that intuition is an innocent pastime .

Take the case of Verne Cameron, a wonderful dowser (read “great at using intuition”). He worked in naval dockyards in California. He got to be known for being able to find things out without any obvious method of detection. So, one day he idly let it slip that he knew where the US nuclear sub s were, and could point them out on a map.

Needless to say, the top brass were very interested in this. They politely asked Verne to display this wondrous talent. He did. And then, for good measure, he also pointed out where the Russian nuclear subs were and which direction they were going.

The top brass compared Verne’s plots with their intelligence. They thanked him politely and bade him farewell. All seemed well until Verne decided to go for a vacation outside the US. It was then he found that his passport had been revoked. He was considered a threat to national security.

Now, don’t tell me that that happened because he got the plots wrong!

So just go careful when you think of bragging to anyone what you can do with intuition. You never know what might happen.
