Dowsing: Real jobs for real people

In some of my bleaker moments, it seems like I’m the only one talking about dowsing and how it can be used in different ways.

Imagine my delight, therefore, when I fell upon this article, explaining how people actually DO use dowsing for jobs not normally associated with the intuitive skill.

As always, to save you the angst of reading the whole thing yourself, allow me to extract the pertinent bits….

The paper is that esteemed journal, the Asheville Citizen-Times (Voice of the Mountains). (Do I not scour the press for you??)

The interview is with Nick Daniels of Asheville who delighted me by saying:

‘Dowsing is underground location,’ said Nick Daniels, of Asheville, who uses dowsing every day in his job repairing underground utility cables. While dowsing is most often associated with finding water, dowsers say they can sense the energy that naturally flows from things, be it water, magnetic fields or a persons aura.

‘I use dowsing to locate water lines, power lines, phone lines, you name it,’ Daniels said.

This man is a prince among men! He actually uses dowsing in his job, without trying to hide it or bluff his way out of it! Huzzah!! And he’s proud of it!! (Huzzah! Again) and….best of all….it works!! (Yet another huzzah!)

I’d best stop before I get faint…BUT! The point remains. There are real people out there doing real jobs and using their intuition to do them well.

Now all I have to do is join up with ALL of them and we can have a wonderful time congratulating each other and not get a stroke of work done.

So how do you use your intuition in your everyday world??
